Principal Officer, Corporate Governance and Strategic Coordination Unit

Corporate Governance & Strategic Coordination Unit leads the Department's Strategy Development and Risk Management functions including oversight of its compliance framework. In addition, it co-ordinates the Department's response to FOI requests and certain parliamentary requests.

CG&SC also holds governance and oversight responsibilities for the Ombudsman for Children's Office, co-ordinates DCDE actions on State Board appointments for bodies under our aegis and represents the Department on a range of Inter-Departmental Steering/Working Groups, where cross-divisional input is required.

CG&SC also oversee operations for the Ministers office, Minister of States office and Secretary General’s office.
