Responsibility at Principal Officer level for overseeing the Vote Management Unit the work of which includes the following broad areas; expenditure oversight, monitoring and reporting, budget management including the Estimates process along with a DPER liaison function. The work of the unit allows for a coordination approach with reliance placed on the work, knowledge and expertise of the line units and the budget holders.
