Principal Officer, Research and Evaluation Unit

Responsibility at Principal Officer level (Head of Research and Evaluation) for the research and evaluation functions in the Department, including the Growing Up in Ireland Study; the delivery of the Department’s evaluation programme; the development of research and analytic capacity across the Department and the promotion of the use of evidence across the Department. This includes responsibility for representing the Department at national and international level on research initiatives, including representing the Department on the implementation structures for Impact 2030: Ireland’s Research and Innovation Strategy.
