Barry Quinlan is the Assistant Secretary leading on Climate Action and Environment. Barry joined the Department in December 2021 from the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, where he had led the Affordable Housing and Local Government Divisions. Prior to that Barry worked in the Revenue Commissioners and the Department of Justice. Barry is a graduate of University College Dublin.

This official is a Designated Public Official under the Lobbying Act 2015.
