Fergal McParland

Fergal McParland is Chief Technical Advisory Officer (Energy) to the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment. He is responsible for delivery of technical support across all energy policy sections and oversees the department's funding of energy research and innovation. The Energy Advisory Section works closely with all energy sections to ensure that the department has all relevant technical support to meet its requirements against energy policy as outlined in: Irish and EU legislation; the Climate Action Plan and other government policies and programmes.
