Paul Bolger is the Assistant Secretary leading on Grid and Strategy. Paul joined the Department as Head of Corporate Affairs and Strategic Development in April 2021. Paul has held a number of senior positions in the Department of Health and was Press Officer and Special Adviser to the Minister for Finance between 2011 and 2016. Paul has also worked in the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform and Department of An Taoiseach
