Shane Hennessy

Shane Hennessy is the Principal Officer (Acting) leading the Corporate Services Section at the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment.

Shane is responsible for providing strategic leadership to ensure that the department has the infrastructure and supporting services required to operate effectively. The role oversees areas such as:

• accommodation and facilities
• related purchase to pay processes
• staff supports
• travel management
• health and safety
• business continuity, and
• sustainability

As Head of Corporate Services, Shane also has oversight of the Energy Performance Officer (EPO) function, which supports the delivery of energy efficiency targets and wider climate action commitments across the department.
