Principal Officer, Geoscience Policy Section

The Principal Officer, Geoscience Policy Section has responsibility to implement the following:

  • 2023 Policy Statement on Geothermal Energy
  • EU Critical Raw Materials Act
  • Policy Statement on Mineral Exploration and Mining (establish new geoscience agency, review/modernise relevant legislation and improve communication with public)
