Principal Officer, Grid Adaptation and Emergency Planning

Responsibilities of the Grid Adaptation and Emergency Planning Section include:

• Continual enhancement of the level of preparedness for an energy emergency, in conjunction with colleagues across oil, gas and electricity areas and with the support of the relevant agencies.
• Representing the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment (DCEE) on Government Task Force (GTF) on Emergency Planning
• Preparation and execution of national exercises around an energy emergency, in conjunction with the Office of Emergency Planning, and implementation of follow-up recommendations
