Principal Officer, Offshore Environment and Future Development Section

The Offshore, Environment and Future Development Section supports the work of the Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment and government in ensuring the delivery of Ireland's long-term offshore renewable energy (ORE) targets. Some of the key workstreams involve: developing an innovative technology policy for floating wind and wave energy, developing an overarching ORE data policy and governance statement to support decision making and planning, and developing a regulatory framework for offshore health and safety.
