Minister Patrick O’Donovan to meet with film studios and creative gaming executives in trade mission to Los Angeles

Minister for Arts, Media, Communications, Culture and Sport, Patrick O’ Donovan – together with Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland and the Department of Foreign Affairs – will lead a trade mission to Los Angeles to meet with Ireland’s creative partners across film, television, animation and gaming.
This Trade Mission will see a number of meetings taking place with senior executives from LA-based studios and production companies. The delegation will also meet with creative executives from the gaming sector, strengthening growing relationships to support the development of a strong creative base in Ireland for storytelling, development and production across digital games.
Speaking about the trade mission, Minister for Arts, Media, Communications, Culture and Sport, Patrick O’Donovan, said:
"Ireland has a history of strong links with the creative screen industry in L.A. and this Trade Mission aims to further strengthen relationships with US partners. I will work on behalf of the Irish film and gaming industries to strengthen working relationships between the Irish sector and the world’s largest studios, streamers and production companies."
