The Minister of State for the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, Seán Kyne TD, officially launched The Uíbh Ráthach Task Force: Report and Action Plan 2019 – 2022 at an event in South Kerry on Monday 22 July 2019.

The Action Plan is aimed at addressing the severe population loss which has been experienced in the Uíbh Ráthach Gaeltacht over recent decades.

The Action Plan has a specific social and economic focus – with a distinct cultural purpose.
