Principal Officer, Human Resources, Training and Development

Responsibility at Principal Officer level for the management of the personnel service for the Departments staff and provision of support for line managers with regard to personnel including liaising with HR Shared Services (Peoplepoint).

Also responsible for staff training and development and implementing programme for change as outlined in Civil Service Renewal Plan including workforce planning.

Also responsible for the implementation of procedures in relation to Ministerial appointment to state boards and implementation of procedures for bodies under the aegis of the Department under new Staffing Resource Management Framework/Delegated Sanction arrangements.
