Natasha Grant is a Deputy Director in the Cabinet Office Briefing Room (COBR_ Directorate, National Security Secretariat (NSS), in the Cabinet Office UK. Natasha joined NSS in August 2018, initially as Head of Performance and Strategy in the Civil Contingencies Secretariat before her promotion to Deputy Director for Readiness and Response. Natasha's team is responsible for horizon scanning, planning for and responding to acute risks facing the UK and UK interests overseas.
Prior to joining NSS, Natasha started her career working with the Metropolitan Police as a Home Office Forensic Scientist after which she moved to the centre of the Home Office to manage a number of national cold case review programmes. Following this Natasha had a number of operational, policy and performance analysis roles across the Home Office and its agencies.
