Capability (People) Development and Support Branch has overall responsibility for Policy Development/Oversight in relation to:
- Veterans Affairs
- Defence Forces Training and related course Undertakings
- Medical Services Delivery
- Some initiatives arising out of the White Paper on Defence, e.g. Defence Forces Employment Support Scheme, Peace and Leadership Institute
- Individual Special Projects as they arise
