The Third Report of the Independent Monitoring Group (IMG) presents a review of progress made by the Defence Forces since the publication, in December 2008, of the IMG’s Second Report.

This Independent Monitoring Group (IMG) has been able to reflect on developments in the Permanent Defence Force since 2001 when the then Minister for Defence appointed an External Advisory Committee to research the extent of particular negative behaviours within the Organisation.
