Chief Quality Officer
The Chief Quality Officer plays an important leadership role in relation to the action plan for the quality assurance of the Inspectorate’s work in schools, early learning and care settings, centres for education, and other educational settings. The role supports the strategic work of the Inspectorate and the Department in relation to evaluating, advising and reporting on the quality of Irish language teaching in primary schools, and providing research evidence and guidance on best practice across regulators in relation to editing, presenting and communicating inspection findings in both individual and thematic inspection reports.
