The Deputy Chief Inspector has strategic leadership and oversight of the inspection programme in Early Learning and Care settings, schools and Coláistí Gaeilge and of the Inspectorate’s role in wellbeing and child protection in schools and settings. She oversees the quality assurance and operational arrangements for the inspection and advisory work conducted by inspectors assigned to the European Schools, as well as policy support for Senior Cycle redevelopment, national and international assessments. She also leads policy support for the participation of parents and children/young people in evaluation and educational provision.
