An tAonad Gaeilge um Scoileanna Meán-Bhéarla (The Irish Language Unit for English-Medium Schools) supports the teaching, learning and use of Irish in English-medium schools.

It oversees the implementation of the Is féidir liom, is féidir linn - Action Plan for Irish in English-Medium Schools 2025 – 2027 that was published in November 2025 and provides progress reports on its implementation.

To implement the Action Plan, the Irish Language Unit for English-Medium Schools works closely with other government departments, state agencies, Irish language organisations, education partners and other support organisations.
