Architect competition in the Department of Education

The Department of Education is inviting applications for Architect post(s) in the professional & technical section of the Planning & Building Unit. The post(s) will be located at the Department’s office in Tullamore, County Offaly. The person(s) appointed will report directly to a Senior Architect.

This recruitment competition will provide the opportunity for architects to join the Department of Education and aims to strengthen the architectural services in the Planning and Building Unit by adding to the existing grade structure of a multidisciplinary team which also includes the following:

• RIAI/Department of Education architectural graduate scheme

• Architectural assistant grades

• Senior architect grades

• Other multidisciplinary services including mechanical & electrical, civil and structural engineers and quantity surveyors at senior grade levels.

Applicants must complete the application form at the rear of the information booklet and submit this form along with their Portfolio to competitions@education.gov.ie no later than 3.00pm on Friday 7 July 2023. Late applications will not be accepted by the Department of Education.
