Schools Map of Creative Youth Initiatives

The interactive data mapping tool launched in July 2025. It charts the engagement of schools and Youthreach centres across the country with Creative Youth initiatives.

Since the first Creative Youth Plan in 2017, almost 1.8 million pupils in more than 2,600 schools and Youthreach centres have engaged in school programmes such as BLAST, Creative Schools, and Creative Clusters.

This innovative tool offers a clear picture of participation by year, county, sector and DEIS or non-DEIS status of schools. The inclusion of data on disadvantage will help Departments in strengthening schools’ participation, and in bringing more students on board.
