Colm Forde

Colm Forde has the assigned responsibility at Assistant Secretary level for ensuring that the business regulatory system facilitates business investment and development, competition in the marketplace, high standards of consumer protection and corporate governance. This includes strategic and budgetary oversight of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, the Corporate Enforcement Authority, the Irish Auditing & Accounting Supervisory Authority, the Companies Registration Office and the Personal Injuries Resolution Board. In relation to Internal Audit, the Division aims to ensure that the highest standards of internal corporate governance is promoted through the work of the department's internal audit function.
