The EU “CLP” Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 provides (in Article 60) for the repeal of Council Directives 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EC with effect from 1 June 2015, and from that date the 2008 EU “CLP” Regulation will become the definitive CLP legislative instrument and a transitioning-out phase of the older EU Directives will come to an end.
