Maeve Dineen

Maeve Dineen is the founder of a strategic advisory firm supporting Fortune 500 and publicly traded companies in life sciences, agriculture, and nutrition as they navigate complex global market and regulatory environments.

Maeve is a member of Ireland's Central Bank commission and serves as a member of Ireland's National Competitiveness and Productivity Council. She previously chaired Ireland’s Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman (2017 – 2024). Her career spans finance, media, agriculture, nutrition and life sciences, bringing a distinctive perspective to corporate strategy, regulation, and stakeholder engagement.

A former journalist, Maeve spent over a decade in business journalism, and as Business Editor of the Irish Independent, she covered Ireland's financial crisis and economic recovery.

She is a graduate of Harvard University's prestigious "Women on Boards" executive programme (2018) and holds a degree in Agricultural Science from University College Dublin and a Master's in Communications from Queen's University Belfast/Dublin City University.

Maeve was appointed to the Central Bank Commission on 1 December 2025.
