Emma Howard is a Lecturer in Economics at the Technological University Dublin. Prior to joining TU Dublin she was an Economics Fellow at the University of Oxford and Mansfield College from 2013-2017.
She is a member of the External Advisory Group for the Irish Government Economic and Evaluation Service (IGEES) and founder and co-Chair of the Irish Economic Association’s Behavioural Economics Network.
Previously, she was Chair of the Irish Society for Women in Economics (ISWE) from 2023-2026. She holds a PhD, MSc, and BA in Economics from Trinity College Dublin.
Her research is in Behavioural Economics and Applied Microeconomics with a focus on pro-environmental behaviours, gender equality, diversity, and inclusion.
