On Wednesday 02 March in Tallinn, Minister Donohoe will meet with Finance Minister Keit Pentus-Rosimannus, to discuss the current geo-political situation, and also to discuss Eurogroup issues including the Economic Governance Review and Banking Union. He will also meet with Madis Müller, President of the Central Bank of Estonia.

Speaking today, Minister Donohoe stated:
“These dark times only underscore the importance of diplomacy, solidarity, and unity. We are taking action to respond decisively to the exceptional and egregious Russian invasion of Ukraine. Nonetheless, we must also continue our work on the policy issues that form the foundations of our Union. I am pleased to be able to travel in person to meet with my Eurogroup colleagues in their capital cities, to discuss these issues. We will continue our work to strengthen and deepen our Economic and Monetary Union.”
This programme of meetings may be subject to change as required by and depending on the evolving situation in Ukraine.
