The Minister for Finance and Eurogroup President Paschal Donohoe met virtually with U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen this afternoon (Tuesday).
Both Secretary Yellen and Minister Donohoe highlighted the United States’ and the European Union’s unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and their commitment to hold Russia accountable for its illegal, unprovoked war against Ukraine. They also discussed the overall economic situation in the United States and the Euro Area as well as progress on the OECD global tax reform agreement.
