Statement by the Tánaiste on incursion by Russian drones into Polish airspace

"I am deeply concerned by the reports this morning of an incursion by Russian drones into Polish airspace overnight.

"This Russian aggression is entirely unacceptable, and poses a risk to civilians.

"I strongly urge de-escalation at this point and reaffirm Ireland’s strong support for a fellow EU member state and a shared commitment to peace and security across Europe.

"It is past time that Russia ends its criminal war of aggression in Ukraine."
