Gerard Cullen, 21, from Balbriggan, has been an apprentice electrician since the age of 17. Now in his fourth year, he is currently attending Phase 6 of his apprenticeship.
Throughout his journey, Gerard has stood out for his dedication and skill, becoming a finalist in two major competitions — most notably the Screwfix Apprentice of the Year, which earned him a place in the finals in London.
Gerard is passionate about sharing his work and experiences online. He regularly creates content on TikTok and Instagram, where he showcases his tools, projects, and life as an apprentice.
Outside of his trade, Gerard is deeply committed to martial arts. He trains in both Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and occasionally competes in Jiu-Jitsu tournaments. His discipline and drive, both professionally and personally, reflect his strong work ethic and enthusiasm for continuous growth.
