Under theĀ National Disability Inclusion Strategy (2017-2021) each government department is required to have a consultative committee to oversee and monitor the National Disability Inclusion Strategy.
The Department of Health's consultative committee is called the Disability Consultative Committee (DCC).
Membership of the Disability Consultative Committee is drawn from organisations representing people with disabilities and service providers, members of the Disability Stakeholders Group, key agencies under the aegis of the department, including the HSE, as well as other relevant State agencies.
