Appointment of Mr Brian Fitzgerald as Chair of the National Haemophilia Council

Following a Public Appointment Service (PAS) advertising campaign, the Minister for Health, Simon Harris TD, has appointed Mr Brian Fitzgerald as Chair of the National Haemophilia Council for a three-year period with effect from 1 August 2019.

Mr Brian Fitzgerald

Mr Fitzgerald is the Deputy CEO of Beacon Private Hospital. He was previously CEO and the CFO of St. James’s Hospital (where he served for over twenty years). He is a statutory Board Member of the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board and a Member of the Sláintecare Council.
