Appointment to the Board of Children’s Health Ireland:

Following a Public Appointments Service campaign, The Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly T.D., has appointed Mr McLoughlin to the Board of Children’s Health Ireland with effect from 31st January 2023 until 3rd December 2023.

Bernard McLoughlin

Mr. McLoughlin has both professional and academic experience in finance. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and a Certified Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management with post graduate qualifications in enterprise, sustainability and climate risk. He has held senior executive and advisory roles in the private and public sectors, in finance and risk, and has a track record of success in project finance and asset management, including delivery of complex public private partnership transactions and the work out of multibillion Euro distressed debt portfolios. He has also worked on the design, implementation or reconfiguration of financial management and risk systems in health and education transition projects, outside Ireland and in diverse, multi-cultural settings
