Appointment to the Board of Tallaght Hospital - Dr Darach Ó Ciardha

The Minister for Health, Simon Harris TD, has appointed Dr Darach Ó Ciardha as a member of the Board of Tallaght Hospital.
This appointment is for the term from 22nd August 2019 to the 21st August 2022.
Dr Darach Ó Ciardha
Dr Darach Ó Ciardha is a General Practitioner in Jobstown and Tallaght Cross. He also holds the position of Assistant Programme Director on the TCD HSE GP Training Programme and Assistant Professor in Primary Care, TCD.
Dr Ó Ciardha is a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP) and a member of the European Academy of Teachers in General Practice (EURACT).
His areas of academic and research interest include Social Prescribing and the impact of health inequity and deprivation on health. He is also a co-founder of the GP education and directory resource GPBuddy.ie.
