Appointment to the Medical Council

The Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly TD, has on the nomination of Medical Schools, appointed Professor Joe McMenamin to the Medical Council.

The appointment is from 8 January 2021 to 31 May 2021.

Professor Joe McMenamin

Professor Joe McMenamin is currently Professor Emeritus at RCSI University of Medicine & Health Science. His area of clinical expertise is Paediatric Neurology and he was Consultant at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin. He also formerly held the positions of Head of School of Medicine and Vice President for Academic Affairs at RCSI Bahrain.
