Re-appointments to the Hepatitis C and HIV Compensation Tribunal

The Minister for Health, Mr Stephen Donnelly TD has reappointed Mr Michael MacNamee and Ms Romaine Scally as members of the Hepatitis C and HIV Compensation Tribunal. These appointments are for the period from 22nd October 2020 until 21st October 2024.
Ms Romaine Scally
Romaine Scally is principal of the firm Romaine Scally & Company Solicitors, Main Street, Tallaght since 1998. She qualified from UCD with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in French and English in 1976 and was entered into the role of Solicitors in the Law Society of Ireland in 1980. She was previously the Secretary of the Tallaght Solicitors Bar Association from 2007 to 2012. She has been an Ordinary Member of the Hepatitis C and HIV Tribunal since 2014.
Mr Michael MacNamee
Michael Anthony MacNamee B.C.L. (N.U.I. 1987); Barrister-at Law (King's Inns) was called to the Bar of Ireland in 1989 after which he handled personal injury claims for a large Irish Insurance company. He commenced full-time practice in 1995. An accredited Mediator, he has a general practice of twenty-five years standing with an emphasis on employment law, mediation and arbitration. He has been an Ordinary Member of the Hepatitis C and HIV Tribunal since 2014.
