Re-appointments to the Irish Blood Transfusion Service:

The Minister for Health, Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD, has reappointed the following as members to the Board of the Irish Blood Transfusion Service with effect from 28th March 2026 until 27th March 2029, to the Board of the Irish Blood Transfusion Service.

Mr Peter Dennehy

Peter Dennehy is a practicing Barrister, Chartered Engineer and Accredited Mediator & Arbitrator. He is currently a Member of the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland and Member of the governing Board of An Coimisiún Pleanála. He previously worked as the Chief Officer of the Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council and Deputy CEO, Director of Corporate Services & Board Secretary at the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, and Director of Corporate Services of the Road Safety Authority.

Mr Kevin Gregory

Kevin Gregory is a Chartered Accountant and the Director of Social Enterprises and Employability with Rehab Group with responsibility for social enterprises in Ireland, Scotland and Poland. He has over ten years strategic leadership experience in the community and voluntary sectors. Kevin previously worked as the Director of Finance, HR & IT with the children’s charity Barnardo’s and Director of Finance, IT & Governance in Focus Ireland. He is on the Finance Committee for the Centre for Effective Services, formerly a Director of the Irish Penal Reform Trust and treasurer of their Finance, Risk, HR & Fundraising Committee, and a former Director of Volunteer Ireland.
