Reappointment to the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland:

The Minister for Health, Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD, has reappointed the following member to the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland with effect from 19 October 2025 until 18 October 2029.

Ms Geraldine Campbell

Geraldine Campbell is an experienced non-executive board member representing the public interest across different public bodies since 2007, having previously been a Chief Executive in the charity sector. She has extensive experience of regulating professionals, including previously holding board member roles for the regulation of the social care profession in Northern Ireland and the osteopathic and dental professions across the UK. Geraldine has held two roles with the Northern Ireland Medical Dental Training Agency, firstly as a Lay Assessor in their processes and more latterly as a Board member. She currently is: a Board member of The Professional Standards Authority (UK); a member of the Nursing Midwifery Board of Ireland Preliminary Proceedings Committee; a Lay Assessor of Continuing Professional Development for The Architects Registration Board (UK); a lay member of The Northern Ireland Bar Council Complaints Committee; and is a Governor of The Southern Regional College.
