National Public Health Emergency Team held their 18th meeting today

The National Public Health Emergency Team on Carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae (CPE) held their 18th meeting on Thursday 24th May 2018.

Items discussed at the meeting included an update from the HSE Implementation Team.

The latest figures from the National CPE Reference Laboratory were presented to the group. In the two-week period from 7th to 20th May 2018, a total of 15 new patients with CPE were detected.

The minutes of all previous meetings and related documents are published on the Department of Health website.
