Reference Group - Commission on Care for Older People

Terms of Reference

The Terms of Reference of the Commission on Care for Older People commit to the establishment of ‘a Reference Group of non-governmental and civil society organisations and other key stakeholders working in the area, including those with lived experience’ to ‘engage, in an advisory capacity, with the Commission and the Cross-Departmental Group, established under its auspices’. Accordingly, the Reference Group will provide a communication pathway between the Commission and wider society.

The work of the Reference Group will be advanced through plenary national meetings, which will be convened bi-annually, and thematic focus groups.

The Chair of the Reference Group, with support from the secretariat, will prepare written reports on the proceedings of the national plenary meetings and thematic focus groups for presentation to the Commission.
