Following the establishment of the Expert Group to review the law of torts and the current systems for the management of clinical negligence claims, Judge Meenan wrote directly to a number of bodies seeking submissions.
In addition, an advertisement was placed in National Newspapers, in July 2018, seeking submissions.
The Expert Group also heard from a number of medical experts and had the benefit of a number of papers prepared by members of the Expert Group and other professionals.
