Assistant Secretary, Finance and Evaluation Division

The Assistant Secretary of the Finance and Evaluation Division is responsible for:

  • leading and developing the department’s Finance and Evaluation Division
  • ensuring core finance functions are carried out to a high standard, including developing the Division's understanding and management of cost dynamics within the health sector, in order to plan, monitor and control expenditure, and support improved productivity
  • oversight in relation to the Financial Systems Reform of the HSE to improve financial management, financial reporting and performance
