Principal Officer, Blood and Organ Transplant Policy

Responsibility at Principal Officer level for: development and implementation of policy in relation to blood, organs and tissue; oversight of acute hospitals in the HSE Dublin and Midlands Region; policy related to blood transfusion and the governance of the Irish Blood Transfusion Service; policy and performance oversight of organ donation and transplantation services; governance oversight of agencies and bodies established to manage blood issues; liaison with the Hepatitis C and HIV Compensation Tribunal.
