Principal Officer, Capital/Infrastructure

Responsibility at PO level for the Capital Infrastructure Unit in DOH. This includes: development of an enhanced strategic approach to infrastructure planning, appraisal and delivery, implementation of the Department’s Strategic Healthcare Investment Framework (SHIF), development and implementation of the sectoral approach to implementation of Infrastructure Guidelines (the Common Appraisal Framework). Development and delivery of strategic and annual Capital Plans., Iinput and engagement on the National Development Plan development, reviews and reporting and Estimates process as it relates to capital. Oversight of vote management and performance in the Capital area. Engagement in cross Departmental and agency groups and engagements relating to the health estate – climate, land and properties. Supporting Ministers and DoH in the discharge of parliamentary functions and briefing on capital projects and plans.
