Principal Officer, Medicines Pricing and Reimbursement Policy Unit

Responsibility at Principal level for developing and overseeing implementation of policy in the following areas: Supply, Assessment, Access, Pricing, Reimbursement and Procurement of Medicines to include expenditure and sectoral agreements across the health service; Sustainable Access to medicines; long-term planning and horizon scanning; the Community Drug Schemes, including the General Medical Services Scheme, the Drugs Payment Scheme, and the Long Term Illness Scheme; International Cooperation on the Supply and Pricing of Medicines.
