Principal Officer, Maternity & Gynaecology Policy

Responsibility at Principal Officer level for: Maternity and Gynaecology Policy including oversight of implementation of the National Maternity Strategy; liaison with HSE National Women & Infants Health Programme on maternity services; Patient Safety and Quality in maternity services; oversight of implementation of the Ambulatory Gynaecology Model of Care; driving the Gynaecology Waiting List Action Plan actions, driving endometriosis and menopause service developments; oversight of Termination of Pregnancy Services in Acute Hospitals; oversight of Acute Hospitals in the Mid-West Region.
