Principal Officer, Medicines and Medical Devices Policy and Regulation

Responsibility at Principal Level for management and delivery of the development and implementation of policy and legislation, at national and EU level, with regard to: medicinal products, medical devices, cosmetics, and clinical trials; the policy and regulation of medicines and medical devices; Strategy and oversight of medicines shortages; Provision of medical devices expert advice within and across the Department; Policy on Aids and appliances; Management of various issues relating to Medicines and Medical Devices.
