Principal Officer, Patient Safety Legislation and Advocacy

Responsible for the development of policy and legislation in relation to patient safety, including developing a suite of patient safety legislation. It also includes developing patient safety policy, involving: a framework for open disclosure; overseeing the rollout of the new independent Patient Safety Advocacy Service; developing a policy around patient voice partners; and working with and supporting the Independent Patient Safety Council.
