Principal Officer, Unscheduled Care Performance

Responsibility at Principal level for effective governance and oversight of Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) services including: the development and implementation of HSE Urgent and Emergency Care annual operational plans, including winter preparedness initiatives; after-action reviews, UEC performance monitoring and reporting in relation to the 29 acute hospitals with 24/7 emergency departments; liaison with HSE Access and Integration and Planning and Performance teams; the delivery of a programme of Injury Unit services standardisation and expansion; the identification and delivery of a suite of research programmes in collaboration with the HRB and HIQA to support the development of future innovative UEC initiatives.
