Planning and Development Act 2024 Commencement Circular No. 2025 04 Partial commencement of Parts 3 and 6

This circular notifies local authorities and other key stakeholders of the commencement of Chapters 1 to 4 of Part 3 and Chapters 1 and 2 of Part 6 of the Planning and Development Act 2024 (Act of 2024)1.

By way of the Planning and Development Act 2024 (Commencement) (No. 4) Order 2025 (S.I. No. 452 of 2025), these provisions came into operation on 2 October 2025.
