Planning and Development Act 2024 Commencement Circular No. 2025 05 Partial commencement of Part 16

This circular notifies local authorities and other key stakeholders of the partial commencement of Part 16 of the Planning and Development Act 2024 (Act of 2024) insofar as that Part relates to the operation of funfairs and the certification of fairground equipment, as well as section 396 of that Act.1

By way of the Planning and Development Act 2024 (Commencement) (No. 4) Order 2025 (S.I. No. 452 of 2025), these provisions came into operation on 2 October 2025.
